What is Scribe?
Scribe is a search engine optimisation software service that analyzes the content of your web pages, blog posts, online press releases, or any other web content at the click of a button. Scribe then reports back and tells you how to tweak your content to get better search engine rankings and more traffic, all while maintaining quality reader-focused copy (i.e. it doesn’t read like you forced it just to please Google!).
New keyword suggestion tool
The coolest new feature in Scribe is the alternate keyword suggestion tool. This new tab shows you alternative related keywords that are relevant to your content, and the search volume for each term.
This helps you discover other keyword phrases you could be targeting, either for more traffic or for less competition. If you want to dominate a particular niche or search phrase, this is invaluable.
A version for all
I currently use Scribe for WordPress, and it’s all packaged up in a neat plugin. Versions are also available for Joomla, Drupal, and a general version on the Scribe website that allows you to paste in any text for evaluation. When you subscribe you will get all versions: Scribe for Web, WordPress, Joomla and Drupal. The Scribe guys are saying, though, that this is unlikely to always be the case, so get in now and secure your access for all of these… just in case you choose to publish on another platform in future.
The personal bit
I’ve found Scribe an excellent tool. I use it here, and on another site that’s just getting ready to launch.
