The fuss over the Icelandic volcano eruption seems to have subsided, with air traffic in Europe back to normal. It seems there might not have been a ned to ground all those flights after all, but what if the ash cloud had turned out to be deadly to aircraft?
Would we have seen pilots trying to dodge round patches of cloud that, if flown through, would clog the engines? I have no idea, but you can have a go at that very situation in today’s Friday Fun: Volcanic Airways.
