My funniest memory is of locking my mum in the larder – apparently she could hear me playing and kept shouting but I would not let her out!! She only got out as a friend that she hadnt seen for years came round and heard her calling help out of the little larder window – luckily the front door wasnt locked!

I remember being SOOO excited when I got a Raleigh Chopper for my 8th birthday. I was one of the first at our school to get one (and the only girl!) All my girl mates were more into Barbie & Sindy so I started hanging out with the boys instead! Fond memories :o)

finally getting the typewriting I had asked for. I had asked for one for christmas for 2 years . I was 10 years old , it was brilliant and I still have it aged 43, don't use it now but can't get rid of it.

I was at nursery aged 4 and mum had made me a crown to wear at our summer party. I was made of cardboard and silver foil, then loads of chocolate coins, jazzles and sweeties stuck on. B y the end of the party the crown had been destroyed as I had pulled all the sweets off to eat.

When I was 4 I got told off by my dad so I said I was leaving home to go to Australia.I went and packed my case which was almost as big as me and started off down the road.After watching me discreetly from the window and laughing their socks off my mum sent my dad to fetch me back but I refused to go back until my dad asked me how much money I had to get to Australia with and I said thruppence.Then with a very straight face my dad told me he was very sorry but the Fare to Australia was four pence so I decided to go home until I had saved another penny and then of course promptly forgot all about it as I went off to play with my friends.
How my dad managed to keep a straight face I will never know :D
