The BBC reports that Apple have scheduled the release of Mac OS X: Snow Leopard for the 28th of August. Snow Leopard apparently frees up to 7Gb of hard drive space when compared to previous versions and includes many performance updates… perfect for when you’re starting to think that your Mac is running a bit slow :) This new version of Mac OS is an upgrade for those already using Mac OS X: Leopard, and the low pricing (£25) reflects this.
Snow Leopard is now available to pre-order from the Apple Store
What about you? Planning to wait or get in there early? I’ve got my pre-order in and will be playing around with the new features on the 28th.
