Friday Fun: Pac-Man

Pac-Man

I remember how great it was to go to the airport when I was little. I lived in Kirkwall, and I’m pretty certain there weren’t any arcades except for a Pac-Man machine in the airport terminal… It was even one of those coffee-table ones!

Anyway, that’s beside the point. Retro Sabotage have created some new takes on Pac-Man. Head on over and enjoy your Friday Fun. They all have flash and are by far best with sound.

Here are the “episodes” available:

Enjoy :)

PS – I think “What Next?” is the best!

Hi Chris,

Although there was no arcade in Kirkwall, Costie’s on Main Street had the first Space Invaders machine in Orkney and had a pinball machine. I think they may have had Asteroids at one time, too. Unfortunately, snooker players had the right to move any video machine player out of the way if they had a tricky shot to take. I lost a few lives that way.

I’d completely forgotten about Costies! I never went in there to play games, only to buy sweets for a Sunday :) I do remember it being more of a snooker hall than anything else.

Dawn and I went back up a few years ago and ended up staying in a guest house owned by the woman who used to run Costies.
