The Doctor’s trusty transport

After so long on air, you’d expect Doctor Who to have racked up a few good quotes, and Piper has collected a load of them together here. Great for the fans out there, and probably mildly interesting for everyone else ;)

Some of my favourites:

• The Brigadier: Naturally enough, the only country that could be trusted with such a role was Great Britain.
  The Doctor: Naturally. I mean, the rest were all foreigners.
• Doctor: I thought I recognized the stars.
  Sarah: You’ve been here before?
  Doctor: I was born in these parts.
  Sarah: Near here?
  Doctor: Well, within a couple of billion miles, yes.
• Josiah: You’re so smug and self-satisfied, Doctor.
  Doctor: I try.
• Leela: The Evil One!
  Doctor: Well, nobody’s perfect, but that’s overstating it a little.
