Friday Fun: MechQuest

MechQuest is a sci-fi RPG where you take on the role of a mech pilot engaged in war against an alien menace called the Shadowscythe.

A basic storyline and character development mechanic makes the game interesting to play, although I will admit that it gets a bit samey after a while.

Still, if you’re after a bit of distraction to prevent your brain from leaking out of your ears at work, this might just fit the bill.

It’s totally free to play, although there is the option to pay to upgrade to “Star Captain” and receive extra benefits like the ability to buy exclusive Star Captain weapons/mechs, and pilot your own starship.
