Miro :: For all your video podcast needs…

by headphonaught on April 19, 2008

I love podcasts and have a ton of content on my iPod. Thing is… some of the pods need a bigger screen and I have an external hdd for my iPod which isn’t conducive for watching content in bed/the living room/outside etc. I discovered Miro through one of the many blogs I read and I have to say it fills this need for big screen video pod content nicely.

Its an open source app does lots of stuff that I don’t use it for… it can play any video format and can save youtube vids. I use it as a video podcast downloader/viewer and love it. I has a directory of thousands of pods… that you can check out before subscribing. Personally, its how iTunes should work for podcasts.

Check it out.
